Drix Media is a full-service video production company specializing in authentic, human-centered storytelling for healthcare, science, and purpose-driven organizations.

Nicci Cheatham, Founder and Executive Producer of Drix Media, is an Emmy-nominated and award-winning storyteller with more than a decade of experience in health, science, and mission-driven content. She has led strategic video initiatives for major healthcare institutions, including Mount Sinai Health System and Baylor Scott & White Health, developing a deep understanding of how powerful storytelling can educate, build trust, and create meaningful impact.

Throughout her career, Nicci has collaborated with leading creative agencies, global brands, and healthcare organizations, including Netflix, PayPal, GMC, NYU Langone Health, the American Heart Association, Columbia University and more. Storytelling has remained at the heart of her career — translating complex topics into compelling, human-centered stories that connect with audiences.

Her work has earned national recognition, including an Emmy nomination for a medical series and two Webby Awards for The Surge at Mount Sinai, a documentary series capturing one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, Nicci leads Drix Media, where she directs a trusted team of world-class cinematographers, photographers, producers, and creative professionals. Her current work also includes serving as Executive Producer and creator of Health Starts With Her, a women’s health series hosted by renowned OB-GYN and gynecologic surgeon Dr. Tara Shirazian. Built around candid, science-based conversations with leading experts, advocates, and notable guests, the series tackles some of the most important and often overlooked issues in women’s health, giving women credible information and empowering them to become stronger advocates for their own care.
